The Software shall collectively include the computer programs in object code form and any updates, enhancements, modifications, revisions, additions, replacements or conversions thereof and the object code installed by the Company on cloud servers (collectively, the “Programs”), and any related documentation (the “Documentation”).
The Software provides online business owners with do-it-yourself legal solutions. The features available in the Software will change over time, and the features that any particular user may access will be defined by their subscription level.

The User shall use the Software solely for his or her own business purposes and shall not use the Software to process information for any entity other than the User’s.
COPIES AND MODIFICATION
Because the Software operates as a SaaS application, the User is not required to make a copy of the Programs, or any elements thereof, to use the Software. Accordingly, the User agrees not to make a copy of any element of the Programs.
The User shall not copy, download, translate, decompile, or create by reverse engineering or otherwise, the source code from the object code supplied hereunder, or adapt the Software in any way or use it to create a derivative work. ACCESSING THE SOFTWARE
The Programs shall be housed on virtual servers under the control of the Company. The User shall access the Software through the internet through a login link available at www.plainlylegal.com.
Each User shall be issued a username and password to access the Software, and it is the responsibility of the User to safeguard the username and password.
The User is not allowed to share the username or password with anyone other than authorized users within the User’s business. Should the Company determine that the User has shared the username and password with anyone other than authorized users, the Company may terminate the User’s access to the software without providing a refund.
BETA PROGRAM DETAILS
The Company is providing the User access to the software prior to the public release of the software so that the User may participate in user testing to refine the Software (“the Beta Program”). The Company anticipates that the Beta Program will last several months, and will likely be completed at or around the end of October 2023.
The User expressly acknowledges that the Software will not be fully functional at the beginning of the Beta Program and that there are likely to be defects and bugs in the Software throughout the period of the Beta Program. The goal of the Beta program is for users to provide feedback to the Company to correct those defects and bugs and otherwise improve the operation of the Software.
The User hereby releases and holds the Company harmless from any and all claims that might arise out of or relate to defects and bugs in the Software for the duration of the Beta Program.
The Beta Program will be separated into 5 Phases (the “Beta Phases”):
Phase 1 – Orientation: This will be an onboarding phase where the Company will provide the User with access to the software platform and will collect information from the User.
Phase 2 – Legal Document Generator Testing: In early to mid July 2023, the Company will grant the User with access to the Legal Document Generator functionality. Once this functionality is released, the User will have access to it for the duration of the Beta Program.
Phase 3 – Legal Manager Testing: The Company will release the Legal Manager functionality, including the legal audit and legal task management, to the User when the Company is satisfied that the code elements for this functionality are ready for testing. Once this functionality is released, the User will have access to it for the duration of the Beta Program.
Phase 4 – Chat Legal Testing: The Company will release the Chat Legal functionality to the User when the Company is satisfied that the code elements for this functionality are performing sufficiently reliably to allow for user testing. Once this functionality is released, the User will have access to it for the duration of the Beta Program.
Phase 5 – Pre-Launch Promotion: When the Company is satisfied that the user testing has validated the functionality of the Software, it will announce a public launch data. In the leadup to the public launch, the User shall continue to have access to the Software and will be encouraged to share details about the software and the upcoming launch publicly.
The Company cannot provide specific dates that each Phase will begin and end because the timing will depend upon the development of the code elements of the Programs.
